K. Paralik Metal İşleri Attends Arabuild 2016
Upon Israil's continous bombardment on Gaza construction companies around the world participated in the Arabuild 2016 fair which aimed at contributing to the reconstruction of Gaza and West Bank.
ARABUILD Exhibition (4th Edition) which highlights the latest products and services needed for rebuilding Gaza, was attended by the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry represented by four of our construction companies. Four of our Chamber's members opened a stand to display their products.
In 2014, Egypt, Norway and the Palestinian Authority organised a conference entitled "Cairo Conference on Palestine - Reconstructing Gaza”. It was held in Cairo on October 12th, 2014 to raise aid for rebuilding Gaza following the July-August 2014 war. The financial support is to be provided over a period of three years (2014-2017) to strengthen the Palestinian Authority’s ability to assume its responsibility in the recovery and reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.
Total pledges announced at Cairo conference amounted to USD 5.4 billion to the Palestinian territories to support the reconstruction of Gaza.
The first concrete step taken at reconstructing Gaza was taken with the Arabuild Exhibition 2016 that took place at Amman between 3-6 April 2016.The international exhibition for construction technologies and building materials took place at the Al Hussein Youth City of Amman in Jordan. With about 800 exhibitors it is the largest and most important event of its kind all over Jordan. In addition to the pure presentation of the latest trends in terms of building materials, heavy machinery, lighting systems and new technologies that are used in the construction industry, the fair is aimed at make an important contribution to the reconstruction of Gaza and West Bank.
The opening of the exhibition was made on the 3rd of April by the Minister of Public Works and Housing, Sami Halaseh. The exhibition was open for visitors for 4 days beteen the hours of 15:00-22:00.
The participating members of the Chamber displayed pain and construction chemicals, tiles and decoration material, bricks and parquet stones, and solar energy water heating systems.
The companies that particpated in the fair were: K.Paralik Metal İşleri, Gürdağ Ticaret ve Sanayi Ltd., Hasan Onalt Sanayi Ltd. and Decomar Mermer ve Granit. Sanayi Ltd..
